Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in Rotary

‘I have been a Rotarian for five years and am currently into my second consecutive year as President of the Rotary Club of Glen Eira.
I am also enjoying a number of other roles within Rotary – Assistant Governor of Port Philip Cluster, District 9800 RAWCS Co-ordinator, District 9800 Diversity Equity and Inclusion Secretary.
I come from a teaching background, having been a Maths teacher in my earlier days and love to cook, bake and create in the kitchen in my spare time!

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion:
Coming from a family that spoke six languages at home, I was raised with French as my first language – learning English at school.  I know what it’s like to be ‘different’ and I want to break down the barriers to acceptance and respect of Diversity. Through Rotary, we have an opportunity to raise awareness and help break down those barriers by sharing, learning and understanding, and allow differences to enrich our life experiences.’
